What's new?

Compared to bitbox mini: same size as the Bitbox Mini, but this one uses ethernet-over-USB-C instead of an ethernet RJ45 jack + power — enabling a single-cable hookup.

Compared to the original bitbox: the original has both ethernet RJ45 and ethernet USB-C plus a built-in switch, letting you connect two devices. It also has an aluminium housing and is larger (though still tiny at 98 g). The bitbox mini-c has a single ethernet/USB-C connector, is super light at 49 g, and rigs even more easily.
